WHAT DOES WALTHAM FOREST WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW ABOUT LOSS?

2nd February 2021

The Covid-19 pandemic has heightened all our experiences of loss; from loss of loved ones who have died because of Covid or during a time where we've been unable to spend time with each other in our final days and hours, or job losses, loss of connection, identity, confidence. There are so many layers of loss we're all experiencing on a daily basis. But there is also hope. There are people, rituals, actions, words that are helping us through.

Your words and images will be used to inspire a new piece of street art commissioned by The Loss Project, created by Wood Street Walls, sharing our experiences of loss and hope in Walthamstow.

Click through on this link to contribute your ideas for the mural: https://forms.gle/tHUkyC8v6cukMBrk6

You can also get involved by joining in with our free live workshops. Safe, informal, and welcoming spaces to explore and process loss, connect with others and contribute to the Wood Street Walls mural.

More details on the FREE workshops are here:

All sessions are free and all in the Borough are welcome, despite a focus on Walthamstow (where the mural will be). Find out more and sign up on the links below:
