Introducing Breakthrough Boxing; our exciting sister brand of The Loss Project. We use boxing to help people move through tough times. Founder Carly is a Level One England Boxing Coach, Level Three Personal Trainer and qualified wellbeing coach.  She fell in love with boxing after experiencing a tough time herself and struggling with her body image, mental health and self-esteem.

Boxing is widely evidenced to have many benefits including:

  • Improves fitness and physical activity,

  • Teaches impulse control and self-discipline,

  • Improves concentration,

  • Teaches focus and offers a safe alternative to risk taking behaviours,

  • Improves self-confidence and self-esteem,

  • Improves mood and aids emotional regulation,

  • A great way to alleviate inner feeling of restlessness,

  • Improves mood and overall wellbeing.

OUR PROGRAMMES

We offer a range of smaller and larger scale programmes for groups, small groups and one to ones. We've worked with the Active Essex Foundation, LOROS Hospice, Dying Matters Rutland and Leicestershire, Essex Recovery Foundation, Schools, MIND West Essex amongst others. We can offer programmes for adults, children and young people.

RELEASE:

RELEASE: Boxing through Bereavement is a specialist programme for anyone who has experienced a bereavement. It combines boxing and grief support to help people navigate grief and loss.

SEND, ADHD, AUTISM

Boxing is accessible to everybody no matter their life experiences. We cater for adults and young people with disabilities and find boxing to be a great tool for expressing emotions, having fun and learning something new.
