About the Event
Second Circle Theatre present THE MEGAN SHOW
Flora and her sister Megan are making a show. It’s about their family. They’re scared of what you might think but they’re doing it anyway. Megan’s language hasn’t evolved like everyone else’s, so Flora decides to investigate and re-stage their parent’s divorce to help Megan get unstuck. Join them on a journey of bravery, self-discovery, and fairy houses by the sea. Audiences should expect matching outfits, elaborate dance routines and the power of sisterhood - picking you up when you fall.
These work-in-progress performances will examine what our parents mean to us and how this support structure shapes the people we are today. It explores the importance of family, the challenges of self-expression in a neurotypical world and the many ways in which we experience loss.
