Can you help us to create a loss positive culture?
Loss has been catapulted to the forefront of our minds during the pandemic, and The Loss Project wants to develop a platform to support a range of people, with a range of losses. We are looking into developing a platform to explore loss in different contexts with different entry points for different people, that is both designed and created by and for people with lived experience of grief and loss. Initially we will focus on bereavement and job losses, but we hope in future to expand to include a wider range of types of losses. This work is contributing to our ongoing development of a framework to explore different types of losses in different contexts so that we can create a loss positive culture.
We are interested in hearing from you about your own experiences and how you might like to engage with support around loss and grief.
How can I help?
We are asking for your views from individuals from communities across the UK, as well as professionals who work in or have an interest in grief, loss and trauma.

Fancy a chat over a brew? Great the session will have up to 5 people and will be hosted via Zoom for roughly 35 minutes. You will need to have a camera and a microphone as well as a device to access the video call from. Everything that is said will be used solely for the purposes of developing a platform to explore loss in different contexts, but we may ask permission to use anonymised quotes to support funding applications and for use when we are speaking to partners and supporters.
You will be sent the joining instructions ahead of the session, which will be hosted by Charlie Ogilvie, an independent facilitator. The sessions will be relaxed, friendly and informal. We are offering a £10 book token for your contributions and time.
